Plans for Improved Facilities at Waikaraka Park.
The Club is working closely with the local Maungakeikie-Tamaki Board and other stakeholders as plans for the Waikaraka Park develop with the expansion of the Club’s facilities beyond the current perimeters of the heritage wall. That concept plan provides for the area, a former landfill site, to be developed as sports fields in the Park extension area known as Waikarara Park South and promotion of the park as the Premier park in the area. The Club will work with all stakeholders to facilitate this project and has a working group ready to be involved as the fields as currently maintained are not able to support a growing club.
Please see recent announcements which include the Waikaraka Park sports field development.
